Data Engineer (m/f/d) Futura Hub
Your responsibilities
- You are actively consulting, analysing and documenting functional requirements and develop solutions based on an SQL environment
- You are supporting datasets based on all business processes in a retail and wholesale company ideally with Fashion background
- Keeping our tools and solutions up to date is key for our success. You are supporting this in an Azure environment in the cloud with on premise solutions combined
- You are building end to end processes in analytics from data source to report datasets
- Communication with and support or training of key users in Analytics and Reporting topics is part of the day to day job, ideally with experience in Power BI or similar visualisation tools
- Ensuring stable daily processes in the system is key for you including testing activity
Your skills
- You have a degree in IT, business information technology or natural sciences or qualification and practical experience in data engineer area
- You have good experience with SQL architecture, ideally with Microsoft SQL server including SSIS or Azure environment
- You have experience with Databricks or at least extensive experience with Apache Spark
- Ability to write efficient SQL statements is key
- Additional skills like VBA, Python or R are beneficial
- You have experience with visualisation frontend tools, ideally with Power BI
- You have strong communication skills and you are a team player
- You have a solution oriented, independent way of working with excellent communication skills
- You have a good command of written and spoken German and English
